I bought my first Reflexology book in 1989 and was fascinated by the technique, origins and associated philosophies. I immediately noticed the benefits for myself, my family and friends. I used this knowledge to ensure the well-being of those closest to me and combined this with positivity and mindfulness practices to relieve stress, anxiety and the associated symptoms.

My desire to continue to offer a caring and supportive role to others led me to enrol on a professional Reflexology training course immediately following my retirement from a 30-year career in policing.

Originally setting up Sole & Heal in Essex as a luxury salon-based therapy, demand led me to extend provision to include flexible mobile services to clients whose travel options or availability during opening hours were limited. It has been rewarding to enable those less likely or able to access a complementary therapy to experience the benefits. In 2019 I relocated to Hampshire where I now offer the convenience of a fully accessible and inclusive mobile service.
